Indonesia makes an example of Aussie in Bali who fumed over $25 fine
An Australian woman who shouted at a policeman in Bali after she was fined for not wearing a helmet on her scooter is being cited as an example of foreigners being deported from Indonesia for bad behaviour.
Marita Daniell was filmed last month being confronted by an officer on a street in North Kuta for not wearing a helmet.
In the video, she appears to try to ride away from the officer, but is surrounded by other policemen.

"We have rules," the officer said to her.
Daniell gets in the face of the officer and keeps shouting at him.
"I've been here for 23 years," she said.
The fine for not wearing a helmet is 250,000 Indonesian rupiah, or about $25.
The video attracted the ire of Indonesians, many of whom expressed their anger at "entitled" foreigners.
In a statement issued yesterday, the Director General of Immigration in Indonesia, Silmy Karim, said "immigration officers would not remain silent with the presence of problematic foreigners".
His statement cited "several foreigners who went viral disturbing public order in Bali".
He noted 620 "delinquent foreign nationals" had been deported from Indonesia in the past three months.
"My directions are quite clear, enforce the law properly and humanely," Silmy said.
"There is no room for compromise for foreigners who disturb security and order, as well as the wheels of the people's economy."
Earlier this week, the chairman of the Regional People's Legislative Council of the Province of Bali Nyoman Adi Wiryatama lamented tourists misbehaving.
"We need tourists, but tourists who are classy, not tourists who throw tantrums," he said, according to the Bali Sun.
