Aussie daredevil crowned Red Bull cliff diving champion

Australian Rhiannan Iffland has won the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series in Dubai with a spectacular set of dives.

Iffland, 25, fearlessly plunged from a spot lit 20 metre platform at the Dubai Marina last night during the finals of the international series.

Video shows the champion smiling from the podium in front of thousands of onlookers before somersaulting her way into the water below.

Hailing from Nords Wharf, New South Wales, Iffland was considered a “rookie” prior to taking out the event’s King Kahekili trophy.

Iffland beat Canadian Lysanne Richard and Ceslie Carlton from the United States.
