Magnitude 3.8 quake strikes North Korea

A magnitude 3.8 earthquake has struck 32km southwest of North Korea's Gangwon province.

South Korea's Meteorological Administration (KMA) said on Monday the quake was detected at 7:45pm in Gangwon's Pyonggang County bordering South Korea and was confirmed to be a natural earthquake.

It was at a depth of 16km, the KMA added.

There is no indication of any injuries or damage.
