This photo shared on X by India's Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) showed debris of the plane that crashed into the city of five million.
Medical students in the college hostel are believed to be among those killed on the ground.
The tail of the airplane is seen stuck in a building.
Rescue workers use a stretcher to remove a victim from the crash site.
A massive fireball was seen after the plane struck the building.
The plane would have been loaded with fuel as it took off for the UK.
The aircraft was torn to pieces, with one medic saying the sole survivor describing it as splitting in two.
