When you've loaded and unloaded luggage from over 50 Travel Guides trips, you can officially call yourself a packing expert and Kev, Dorian and Teng have earned that title.

The Boys, well Kev and Dorian at least, took to Instagram to share a life-saving tip they recommend for a "quick pack": packing cubes.

But it turns out not everybody agrees.

Kev is an organised packer and a firm believer in keeping things in categories. He shared a video of himself neatly sorting his bag into cube compartments.

In the comment section, co-star and fellow Travel Guide Karly joked: "Where's your hair straightener, blow dryer, make up, bikinis?"

Travel buddy Dorian is on the same page as Kev. According to one video on his Instagram, preparation is key and like Kev, packing cubes are a necessity.

In a video poking fun at his disorganisation, footage shows Teng chaotically throwing clothes into his bag the morning of his trip.

Whether you're a packing pro or a last-minute lugger, you could still learn a thing or two from the Kev, Dorian and Teng.

Dorian's advice was to always prepare for the worst case scenario.

"Pack your under the plane bag and then always pack extra clothes, undies, shirts and shorts in your backpack because you could lose your luggage," he previously told 9Entertainment.

Teng's approach to packing is that less is more.

While he joked (we think) that you can get multiple re-wears out of your undies, he did suggest really thinking about what items you will wear to maximise the amount of free space in your bag.

Getting away with overweight carry-on

On the topic of overpacking, Kev had a sneaky little trick in case you accidentally found yourself with an overweight carry-on bag.

"Just lift your bag up with one finger or your pinky in front of the staff because they won't weigh it," Kev argued.
