Sonya let $20k slip through her hands, when she returned for a second chance the unexpected happened
Firefighter Sonya had already lost her chance at $20,000 in a previous episode of Tipping Point Australia – and she really did not want to walk away empty handed again.
Sonya, 38, appeared on Monday's special episode of the show, featuring three former contestants that lost all their money in temptation returning to redeem themselves.

She hosed down retired handy man Steve and teacher Lily to make it back to the Jackpot Round, where she was looking for the glory she missed out on during her first attempt.
Sonya had earned $5,200 and was eyeing the Jackpot prize – until host and tennis legend Todd Woodbridge offered the ultimate temptation.

"Given you've been here before, I'm only going to give you one offer. Four counters and an increase to $40,000," Todd said.
Sonya was torn, even after the nod of approval from her partner Sam in the crowd.
"Surely with a second chance like this, a chance to redeem yourself, you would go again wouldn't you?" the host continued.
"Ah you don't make things easy Todd! Because I've got the PTSD from being here before and walking away," Sonya laughed.
Eventually, she decided the offer was too good to pass up as the crowd roared in support.

Her first counter was a bust and Todd couldn't help but point out how nervous Sonya looked, especially as her second pushed the Jackpot Counter halfway over the edge.
She had two more goes up her sleeve but as fate would have it, she only needed one;
