Who did Bear choose for a single date on The Golden Bachelor tonight?

After 20 incredibly accomplished women put their hearts on the line to pursue a chance at love, Golden Bachelor BeaBea has been on huge journey!

As he seeks to find the one to spend the rest of his life with, receiving a rose has been the name of the game.

This means dates, especially single dates, have been be crucial.

Each episode, Bear and the lady of his choice have gotten away from the mayhem of the mansion and spent some quality one-on-one time together.

This has all been about building quality connections, but of course may've also included a kiss or two, and sometimes, the gift of a rose before the rose ceremony.

No wonder all the women were clamouring for one!

Here's a closer look at which women have enjoyed single dates with Bear throughout the season.

Episode 9: Final dates in Cape Town ahead of Bear's final decision

For the finale, Bear, Sunny and Janette travelled to beautiful South Africa for a dramatic backdrop to a dramatic end.

Before he finally made his choice and declared his love to his winner, he took each on a special final date.

First, he and Janette went on her dream date – a wildlife safari!

She loved it so much that catching a glimpse at lions made her emotional.

It was also a success as she finally opened up about her feelings, after regretting missing her opportunities a few times earlier.

"Love is a big word for me and I don't say it very easily because it's not a word, it's a feeling," she told him.

But, she confirmed, "I'm falling for you".

Next, Bear met Sunny with a special plan: swimming with penguins!

Unfortunately, Sunny spent the whole time terrified – but she powered through to the quality time over oysters.

Of course, Sunny was nothing but transparent about her feelings.

"I think you are the one for me," she told him "I'm in love."

Episode 8: Bear visits everyone's Hometowns

With just three women remaining, it was time to get out of the mansion and fly around the country for Hometowns!

All season, Bear in charge of the dates – but on their turf, Janette, Kim and Sunny were in charge and each had a special day planned for him.

In Sydney, Sunny met him at the driving range to work on his golf swing, a lot like their first introduction on the red carpet!

Bear met Kim in Brisbane where she went for something adventurous, as they harnessed up and had lunch on a rooftop, hanging over the edge of a building. Bold!

Finally in Melbourne, Janette arranged a beach picnic for Bear – along with a workout we didn't get to see on screen but luckily, we have all the pics here:

Episode 7: Janette is the first to receive a second date

Just five women remained and everyone had enjoyed special one-on-one time with Bear, so Janette was the lucky lady to receive a second single date.

It was a good one – as they took to the seas (again), this time on a cruise ship.

Janette wanted to take the opportunity to tell him how she felt, especially after she got in her head and couldn't make eye contact throughout the dance group date.

However, Jan didn't take her chance to really open up – and was worried that would impact her going forward.

"I have fallen for him already... I had my moment to say what I should've said and I didn't take it, I got scared," she said.

Episode 7: Jan finally gets her alone time

After impressing Bear at the dance class group date, Bear selected Jan for a very special date – watching a private performance of Sleeping Beauty before some romantic dancing of their own!

Jan had been worried about not getting too much time with Bear, despite receiving the first impression rose on opening night.

Her fears were allayed as they picked up right where they left off.

It was such a perfect day, that talking about it made Jan emotional.

"It's surreal, it's a date that I could never have dreamed of and for Bear to organise this, it takes my breath away," she said.

"I'm going to cry! ... It's really nice to receive something so special, just for me."

Episode 6: Kim and Bear make a meaningful meal

Bear hired a fancy car and planned one hell of a date for Kim!

The duo made lunch in a restaurant kitchen, but it wasn't just any meal – it was a mac and cheese from his mother's handwritten recipe book.

Afterwards, they sat and ate their creation over conversations about passion and the true meaning of 'Netflix and chill'.

Building their connection earned Kim a rose and definitely a couple of kisses too!

Episode 5: Bear surprises Sunny with a special gift

While the group got on the road for a camping trip, Bear invited Sunny for a single date.

The weather didn't exactly play ball as they went on a boat ride and shucked oysters, but Sunny couldn't have cared less.

Bear was delighted by her positivity – a literal ray of sunshine on a rainy day!

After enjoying their day by the water, they dried off and settled in for a deeper conversation.

She wanted to make sure he was actually ready for a serious relationship, and thankfully Bear confirmed he was.

He then had another surprise: a gift for her, a stunning pearl necklace.

Of course, Sunny left this date with a rose (and dare I say our most passionate kiss so far?)

Episode 4: Terri and Bear ride a rollercoaster

A private theme park date sounds like something out of a movie, but that was the reality as Terri met Bear for a fun-filled night at Luna Park.

They enjoyed the rides and games, and even won Terri another bear – although this one was stuffed, blue and without a Canadian accent.

Later, they sat down for food and a chat, which Terri saw as an opportunity to learn whether Bear was worth bringing her walls down for.

After a night of games, laughs and deep conversation, her questions were answered.

Bear had two final surprises: a rose, of course, and a romantic kiss under the theme park lights!

Episode 3: Gera and Bear try puppy yoga

Bear selected Gera for the second official single date of the season, and it couldn't get much cuter!

The pair donned their activewear for a yoga class, but this one had some very special, furry guests:

The pair stretched out their muscles, cuddled the pubs and got up close and personal with some more intimate poses before settling under a tree for a picnic lunch.

Gera was initially worried that their connection would falter because as a career woman who chose not to have kids, they've lived very different lives.

However, Bear didn't feel like that was a problem at all – after all, they were both in the same place now!

He cemented this by offering Gera a rose that she readily accepted, with a cheeky kiss too.

Episode 3: Bianca horse rides her way to some one-on-one time

After impressing Bear during a horse-riding group date by persevering even though she had no idea what she was doing, the Bach selected Bianca for some alone time at the end of the day.

With fairy lights and a picnic under the stars, it was just the romance she was looking for.

Their conversation got deep as Bianca opened up about using humour as a defence mechanism and her experience with IVF.

Bear clearly appreciated her openness as it did wonders for their connection, as he gifted Bianca a rose and a kiss!

Episode 2: Janette and Bear go sailing

Janette was the very lucky woman selected for the first official single date, and Bear certainly pulled out all the stops!

The keen sailor set sail on Sydney Harbour with his chosen lady, before the pair settled in for a beach picnic as the sun set.

They ended the date with a dip in the ocean, just in case the day hadn't already been romantic enough!

Episode 1: Jan receives the first impression rose

As his journey kicked off, Bear met 20 wonderful women in a whirlwind night of arrivals at the Bachelor mansion.

Of course, there was no time for a single date on the very first evening, but host Samantha Armytage introduced the 'first impression rose' for Bear to signal who he felt a strong connection with already.

After sparks flew in their first meeting, Bear was honoured by Jan opening up about coming to terms with not having children in a heartfelt one-on-one chat.

Those sparks only grew stronger as he gifted her the first impression rose.

"I didn't think I was that much of a standout," she reacted with shock.

Of course, the other women were on high alert after that – as 56-year-old interior designer Catherine immediately declared Jan the favourite.
