On The Floor, one decision can change everything.

That fact was more apparent than ever when one player, David, won a duel in his own category of 'drinks' and immediately decided to take a huge swing to shake up the entire game.

With a large chunk of the floor's territory in her possession, his rival Sophie was what's known as a 'whale' in the game, indicating a dominant but precarious position as a frontrunner with a big target on her backs.

Rather than head back to The Floor, David chose to continue dueling and was confident about knocking down the 'whale' – even with Sophie having an extra five seconds on the clock thanks to three previous wins in a row.

There was an extra element of revenge to be had too, as Sophie had knocked out David's sister Gill just yesterday.

The pair went head-to-head in Sophie's inherited topic of flags and after a nail-biting round, David came out on top by just one second.

"That was the most incredible duel I think we've had thus far, quite extraordinary," a shocked Rodger Corser reacted.

Finally, Sophie's time came to an end and The Floor officially had a new 'whale'.

David then had a tough decision to make.

Would he continue on, or return to The Floor where he was now in the lead to take home the daily $10,000 prize for whoever has the most territory?
