Melbourne architecture studio architecture studio  have overhauled a small Fitzroy space into a luxe one-bedroom Airbnb rental property for company Microluxe.

Guests are invited to purchase the furniture, art and accessories when they leave— a trend which has also caught on in London.

Edwards Moore completely gutted the ground floor area, removing internal walls to create the now open-plan space, adding a raised marble plinth which forms the backdrop to the living space, an unusual moody steel kitchen and a gold mirrored box which conceals a fold-down queen size bed with ergoflex memory foam mattress, premium bed linen and duvet.

The short-term rental property, and part showroom will gradually evolve as the products change over.

Edwards Moore are known for taking on alternative projects from set designs for music videos to installation pieces, and their own studio space which was once an electroplating factory (take a look at our exclusive studio tour in the video above).

The apartment is available for $236 per night and products for purchase can be found at Microluxe.
