Trevena Glen
After a conversation over a Sunday roast and a quick look online for property, came Trevena Glen - a tourist farm run by husband and wife team, Lindsay and Katie. Originally just looking for a place to keep their horses, Katie's parents soon jumped on board the investment and the two couples decided to open their property to the public as a tourist farm.
Now they are teaching kids about where food comes from, taking farmyard tours, offering horse rides and providing Equine Assisted Learning through the NDIS. They now have about 14 people living and working on the farm in their own little farmyard community.
For Katie and Lindsay it's about providing an experience for people to come tougher, connect with the land and animals and make memories.
