Known as the Curlews, this misfit bunch of Brisbane dads only started curling in their 40s just over a year ago, but are now chasing an Olympic dream. It all began with a lunch, some red wine, and a frosty fantasy that led to a sacred vow to become Olympic curlers.
Despite their humble beginnings on the ice, Andrew, Boyd, Cormac, Matt & Nick - a real estate agent, a sports commentator, a car dealership owner, and a corporate farmer - have found their enthusiasm and competitive spirit has given them an advantage.
