Stir & Stitch
Amanda Rickard has been passionate about home economics and craftsmanship since childhood, influenced by her mother and grandmother. Throughout her career, she explored teaching roles and decided to pursue her dream of opening a home economics "school" in March 2020.
Despite the challenges posed by COVID-19, Amanda, with the support of friends and family, successfully opened Stir & Stitch a year later.

The establishment offers cooking classes, sewing classes, and high teas to create a community space for people of all ages and abilities to develop a love for craftsmanship. Despite her dedication to the business, Amanda's ultimate joy is found at home, enjoying tea and crocheting by the window surrounded by her family.
