Solar Whisper Cruises
As a kid, David White was fascinated with dinosaurs, and now he gets to see living dinosaurs everyday. About a 90 minute drive north of Cairns, David and his dog "Dougie" are cruising the Daintree and bring guests along for the ride to get a glimpse of something special, the Saltwater Crocodile.
He has been doing this for 26 years and has come to know and care for the wildlife that calls this ecosystem home, even documenting it all in his online soap opera social media posts "Days of the Daintree".
David's sense of humour and creative storytelling is all part of the experience that guests get to enjoy while on a tour with him. His unmatchable knowledge of the individual crocs (which he knows all by name) shows his true passion and love for the region and this river system.
