Sobah Beverages
Based in Burleigh Heads, Sobah Non-Alcoholic Beverages is breaking down the stigma of socialising sober with Australia's first non-alcoholic craft beer. Indigenous owned and led, husband and wife duo Clinton and Lozen are using native ingredients to create a nice tasting but non-alcoholic craft beer. Founded by Gamilaroi man and psychologist, Clinton Schultz, Sobah functions from the philosophies of Gamilaraay lore 'dhiriya Gamil' along with other lessons he has been fortunate to learn from Elders from around Australia. Featuring Aboriginal art, the cans also explain where the native ingredients come from and what language groups they're tied to. The couple aim to raise cultural awareness and promote Aboriginal arts, language and history through their range.
