For many, Scrabble is a fun board game, but for Paul and Karen Richards, it is a way of life. Their passion for triple-letter scores and the dreaded 'Q' tile has taken them around the world to compete, transforming a simple hobby into a lifelong competitive pursuit.

Now, as prominent leaders in the Scrabble community, with Paul serving as Queensland President and Karen as the founder of the Youth World Championships they dedicate their retirement to the game's future by teaching the next generation how to master the board and lay down tiles for the maximum score.
