Ocean View Estates
Like many people, Thomas and Kate Honnef love to share a bottle of wine while catching up with friends, and it was over one of these catch ups, twenty five years ago that Ocean View Estates was born. This winery, in the stunning Moreton Bay region, was a labour of love for the couple, with their three young daughters literally growing up in the vineyard.
Over the years they have worked tirelessly, planting vines, building a winery, a cellar door, a cafe and restaurant and recently, guest accommodation right in the Moreton Bay region. With viticulture strong in the Honnef blood, it is no surprise that their eldest daughter Hannah has followed her parents' footsteps and now she and her husband work in the family winemaking business.
