Katherine was born in Mena Creek and spent much of her childhood in the school and eating hot chips from the pub as a kid. She and her partner Jacinta have their own history with the pub and are excited to be joining its next leg of history. Paronella Park was the vision of José Paronella transforming virgin scrub into a tranquil and decadent garden for the public. Building, creating and growing since 1914 and opening officially in 1935 these gardens have become an important part of Mena Creek's history and provides a colourful backdrop for this iconic town.
