Jacinta Shackleton from Lady Elliot Island Eco Resort
Master Reef Guide Jacinta Shackleton can be found welcoming guests to the breathtaking Lady Elliot Island to showcase all it has to offer through her walking, glass bottom boat and snorkelling tours. With a mission to connect people to the ocean, she hopes that people will come away from the island with a sense of responsibility to care for all ocean life.
She has recently taken up photography, and captures stunning images from her island home to further promote the cause. In 2022, Jacinta entered the record books after filming the rare blanket octopus off the shores of Lady Elliot Island. Jacinta has a way of capturing her encounters with marine life that leaves the world in awe and helps to spread her message of conservation.
