Adele Pile and Stuart Alexander always had an affinity for the water and for each of them this unfolded in water-based careers - Adele as a Marine BIologist and Stuart as a Royal Australian Navy Officer.
They ended up settling down in Sydney with their family but when they became empty nesters, they started looking for opportunities to fulfil a long held dream of escaping to a life of island-hopping.
Making the stunning backdrop of Mission Beach their home, they now run a tourism operation around the tropical islands just offshore, providing transfers to Bedarra and Dunk islands, adventurous and romantic tours with gourmet iconic lunches and scientific charters. Now in their 3rd year of running the business, they are winning awards for their sustainable tourism operation.
