Ferns Hideaway Resort

Ferns Hideaway is a retreat situated in the beautiful Byfield National Park. It all came about when founders Marto and Gen were honeymooning in sunny Queensland and stumbled upon the beautiful Byfield Rainforest just outside of Rockhampton.

They fell in love with the region so much, they decided to bid farewell to their life in Victoria and stay. Eight years later they bought a beautiful property that felt "like us". With a lot of love, perseverance and triumphs over adversity, this couple have created a rainforest oasis to share with tourists, but through it all, both say they feel like they are still on their honeymoon.
