Hamish Alcorn and Dawn Albinger have breathed new life into the world of antiquarian books through their ownership of Archives Fine Books, a cherished bookstore located in Brisbane's historic John Mills Himself building. Drawing on their diverse experiences and passion for literature, Hamish and Dawn became partners in both life and business after meeting at the bookstore in 2009.

Since then, they have founded The Archives Fine Book Collecting Prize to encourage young Australian collectors and foster growth in the book collecting community. Their shared passion for literature and history aims to ensure that the past continues to influence the present, celebrating books and collectors alike.
