Martha Kalifatidis joins Celebrity Apprentice Australia

Martha Kalifatidis is returning to our screens in a big way.

9Entertainment can reveal the former Married At First Sight bride will be one of the celebrities appearing on Celebrity Apprentice Australia, set to air on Channel 9 in 2021.

"I am so excited to announce I am going to be on Celebrity Apprentice on Channel 9, so make sure to tune in and watch," Martha said in the video above. "Obviously, I'll bring the drama.

"It's basically 2016 again and I'm in the principal's office — except the principal is Lord Sugar, and he is not sugar-coating it."

Martha, 32, joins previously announced stars Michelle Bridges, Michael 'Wippa' Wipfli and Australian Ninja Warrior's Olivia Vivian, as well as more familiar faces who will be revealed shortly.

And as Martha mentioned, this season's CEO will be Lord Alan Sugar, a British billionaire and business magnate. He's been the CEO on all 15 seasons of the UK version of The Apprentice, and he'll be joined by two advisors.

Celebrities on the show will be divided into two teams and given tasks where they have to use their talent, connections and creativity to raise money for their chosen charities. After each task, someone from the losing team will be eliminated, with Lord Sugar telling them, "You're fired."

Celebrity Apprentice Australia isn't the only big thing happening in Martha's life at the moment.

"Not sure why this isn't breaking news, but I have been nominated for an E! People's Choice Award as Australian Social Star of the Year," she said.

"Please vote for me, I really, really want to win this — I've never won anything before."

Martha first appeared on the 2019 season of Married At First Sight. She was matched with Michael Brunelli and they're still a couple. Earlier this year they moved from Melbourne to Sydney, and they recently celebrated their two-year anniversary.

She's amassed an Instagram following of over 350,000 followers, who lap up her fun mix of beauty content, cooking videos, moments with her hilarious mother, Mary, and loved-up shots with Michael.

Martha also starred in a digital series for the Married At First Sight website called Martha's Red Wine Moment, in which she shared her sassy reactions to this year's dinner parties.
