MAFS 2026 Episode 24 Recap: Gia brings the receipts, revealing text screenshots that could 'ruin' Bec

We are back in Sydney following an utterly chaotic MAFS 2026 Couples Retreat – and here's hoping we never hear that finger-related term ever again.

While some couples were caught up in the mess, the fresh country air (and being far removed from the digit drama) has led to some intimate milestones for others ...

Sam has a hickey to prove it.

He and Chris have "taken it to the next level", and here's hoping they can announce it before Bec gets wind.

Speaking of, she and Danny made a sneaky escape from the retreat after Juliette lobbed some major insults her way.

Now everyone's wondering, will they return for tonight's showdown? I mean, festivities?

Cocktail Hour

Between the C-bombs and poolside gossip, something beautiful bloomed: new friendships.

Gia left the retreat having realised Alissa is a nice person who did not deserve to be relentlessly attacked!

That's lovely, but it's not the biggest Alissa and David storyline to deal with right now.

Not when David has arrived like this:

The experts are just as delighted by this as I am.

Finger-gate is still on people's minds, even though Rachel and Steven would prefer to never speak of it again.

But there is another bad word also causing tension: Juliette's C-bomb.

She's not sorry for coming at Bec, but does admit her "delivery was awful".

Bec and Danny are the last to arrive, and while some are thrilled to see them, others – okay, Juliette and Gia – are not.

Gia doesn't think it's worth saying hello, but Juliette eventually gives in, going over to Bec to offer an apology.

"I think we can talk at the dinner because you delivered that to everyone," Bec shoots back.

Soooo, let's get to it then! Chop chop!

Dinner Party

This week the group want to start a little differently: by going around in a kumbaya circle and sharing positives from their relationships.

There's drama to get to, but fine.

We start with Chris and Sam's hickey-giving good times, before jumping to Gia and Scott.

They've been calling themselves the #powercouple this entire time, so they need to level up here.

"I feel like she's my soulmate," Scott says.

That'll do it!

Bec and Danny say they've come out of the retreat better than ever.

She wants to thank "the hyenas" and wonders if they're jealous because her husband is a rich guy with a large ... oh god, I thought we were done with things I cannot type this week?

"I love him," she says in her voxy.

I'll give you absolutely nothing if you can guess who thinks it's all "as fake as her tits"!

Steven and Rachel have nothing but good things to say about each other, sealing it with a big ol' kiss at the table.

The lipstick transfer is the greatest moment of Rachel's week.

Juliette and Joel tell the group about their extra fun cuddling, but before we learn too much about Teddy's recent bedtime traumas, Bec jumps in.

It's tiiiiiime!

"What did I do to you to deserve being called a dumb c--- and a freak?" Bec asks.

Juliette explains herself.

She didn't appreciate Bec's behaviour, especially the finger thing.

The experts groan. This may be our 200th time hearing it, but for them this is brand new information!

Juliette's response doesn't satisfy anyone. Rachel's upset the word has been brought up again and Bec thinks everything else she says is a lie.

Rachel is over being used as a pawn in this C-bomb slinging feud.

"We have a plethora of different words in the English language that we could use," Rachel explains.

"I need to read more," Juliette replies.

Bec says she's owed an apology.

Gia implores Juliette not to do it, which may be helpful advice if she said to her face instead of just in a camera interview.

Juliette does apologise for calling Bec names, "but".

Oh god, it's not a good time for a but.

She claims she's been feeling very emotional on behalf of everyone else, which is just one example of what Danny calls "fluff".

Juliette, in her little red riding hood cosplay, has been thrown to the wolves by Gia, who has been very quiet despite promising to have her back.

Danny demands another apology, Juliette has no choice by to give it and this time, it's accepted.

With that done, they raise a toast "to try and be better".

What a lovely sentiment – that Gia thinks he's totally unqualified to give.

She wants an apology from him for calling her a liar, but he's definitely not up for that.

There is no moving forward on Gia and Scott vs Bec and Danny at this point, and everyone knows it.

So they toast, again, but Gia's got a look.

While Scott and Danny officially end their friendship, Gia watches Bec slot back into her circles and make up with the rest of the brides.

She's seeing red, or more specifically, seeing receipts.

She grabs Chris and Juliette, pulling them aside to drop bombs about what Bec's said about Stella, Alissa and David that are so juicy we aren't allowed to hear them yet.

Instead, we just see Chris' jaw dropping so low I wonder if he's broken something.

"I could ruin everything for her right now," Gia says.

Will this come to light on Sunday?

That would certainly throw a spanner in the works, as we've also got condom chat, an "I love you" and walkouts to contend with.

It's going to be a biggie. I'll catch you then!
