MAFS Reunion 2025 LIVE Updates: Follow what happened as the couples face the experts one last time

The Married At First Sight Reunion is officially over!

There were some explosive moments that came throughout the evening, including Jamie's heartbreak as she watches her marriage crumble, a damning unseen video that exposes one groom's hurtful lies, and some exciting revelations for some couples.

 Jeff drops the L-bomb

We drop back in right where we left - with Mel asking if Jeff has fallen in love with Rhi. 

"Umm…" says Jeff as he feels the pressure.

"I do love you, Rhi," he adds and the WHOLE room erupts in applause! 

"I love you too," she responds.

We can't BREATHE! LOVE! IS! LOVE!

Katie is tearing up, I'm a sobbing mess and Billy is like a proud bestie: "HE DID IT! HE DID IT!" 

Rhi and Jeff go in for a big smooch and they feel "incredible' the magic words have been uttered. 

At last, we can sleep well knowing Rhi and Jeff WILL make it into the outside world. 

And with that comes the end of Married At First Sight 2025 - what an absolute rollercoaster ride it's been. 

We've had love, we've had heartache and we've had friendships that will last forever.

Thanks for joining us, and we'll see you next year to do it all over again!

Jeff blushes as the room ask one question  

Now it's time for our final couple of the night… Rhi and Jeff! And what a palette cleaner this is. 

Unlike the other couples, their highlights reel is literally just a highlights reel.

They mention falling in love multiple times throughout the experiment and in their Final Vows, which piques Mel's curiosity.

Have they officially fallen? The whole room leans in to hear the three words the whole of Australia has been waiting to hear. 

Jeff is giddy, he does a nervous laugh and it's freakin' ADORABLE.

"Don't leave us hanging," John says.

Wait, noooooooo. Another ad break. OUR HEARTS CAN'T TAKE IT, WE NEED TO KNOW!

John gives Paul a brutal reality check 

We're right back in the middle of the action. John says he's looking at a groom who's messed up not once, not twice, but three times. Brutal. 

"Rolling your eyes, shrugging saying she's not compatible because of these reasons. Frankly, it just made me sick in the stomach," he seethes.

"This must be a wake-up call to you."

Paul takes a deep breath. I'm taking a deep breath. 

"It is…" he whispers. 

Paul knows he needs to improve how he operates going forward. As for Carina, she's learned to trust her gut more. 

YIKES, this is getting deep.

We need a breather and luckily, a very smiley Rhi and Jeff (who may or may not have a big announcement to make) are on the other side of this ad break. 

Carina gets emotional watching back her journey

Right, where were we? Ahhh yes, Carina is defending herself and says been genuine the whole time. 

Let's bring out the receipts, shall we? 

Carina and Paul are watching in horror as their many lows play out on screen. Could they be any more uncomfortable on that couch?

Spoke too soon. 

Carina is emotional as she sees Paul's Final Task date and the fallout, which ultimately led to the demise of their entire relationship.

A single tear rolls down her face. 

Everyone is uncomfortable but Carina feels certain she made the right choice. How does Paul feel? 

"It was a lot," he clears his throat. But now he's deflecting and claiming Carina made some mistakes as well. 

John cuts him off to deliver a brutal reality check.

"Paul, I've had enough," John says bluntly. 

HERE WE GO.

"You have to stop playing the victim and look at me when I'm talking to you because I won't get another chance to give this to you straight." 

OOOFT. John is NOT playing. We need a wine top-up and ad break!

Paul and Carina take the couch 

Next to face the experts are Paul and Carina. 

Paul says that Carina's rejection, after he broke her trust "just didn't sit well" with him. Now, he doesn't think they're compatible at all because he reckons Carina "can't take criticism". 

Carina's giving a cold stare and I'd be careful what you say next, Pauly. 

His major concern is the fact that "Carina wasn't really showing me her true self because she worries a lot about her image". Yep, there it is.  

He thinks Carina only dumped him because she was worried about the public perception if she didn't. 

Alessandra tries to pull Paul up on this - and Paul, WHY ARE YOU STILL TALKING?! 

"I would appreciate it Paul, if you did not speak over me!" she says.

Ooooh burn. Just in time for an ad break.

Clint reacts to Jacqui and Ryan's relationship

WE'RE BACK!

Jacqui and Ryan are arguing (standard) and yessss, thank you John Aiken for bringing the attention back to Clint.

"Clint, now that you're in a relationship with Jacqui, I'm intrigued about what your take is on their relationship?" 

Okayyyyy, here we go. 

Clint says: "Watching the video was exactly what Jacqui described went on…" 

Clint asserts that Ryan's behaviour was terrible, but we're going to need more than that. Billy wants to know if seeing footage of Jacqui and Ryan's relationship raises alarm bells for the groom. 

"I've actually fallen more for her since I've just watched that," Clint replies.

Billy is stunned, while Jamie is giving a serious case of side-eye. 

Love is love! With that, Jacqui and Ryan's relationship has come to an end and Jacqui and Clint's is only just beginning…

The group go WILD over Jacqui and Ryan's journey 

Here we gooooooo. Next up we have…Jacqui and Ryan! 

Mel says last night we learned some new information. I mean, c'mon, Mel, it was the world's worst kept secret! 

Jacqui explains how compatible she and Clint are and we feel a bombshell coming… Yep, she's moving in with him.

Ryan's reaction is EVERYTHING. The group erupts into laughter, as Billy says that's "mad" after just two weeks together. Great to know I wasn't the only one thinking it.

Ryan is definitely thinking it because he begins to question the timeline of Jacqui and Clint's relationship. 

"My question is, with the mountain of evidence, actions, words, contradictions, the non-acceptance, did you ever really want to be in this relationship? Truly?" he asks Jacqui. 

She says she did, so what better time to watch it all back?

The group are dying to watch the behind-of-scenes of their most chaotic cast mates. Everyone shifts in their seats to get the best view and I've just popped some microwave popcorn.  

"No talking!" Jamie instructs. Yes, ma'am! 

It immediately begins with "warrior" Ryan and his sword. An incredible start. Very cinematic. 

Cue Jacqui's iconic one-liners, the infamous dip, the cursed photo ranking challenge and every trainwreck moment that followed. 

"How hard is it to just be like, hey, I made a mistake, you're f–king gorgeous," Jacqui says in one flashback. To which Ryan replies: "Because that would be a lie." 

The group is screaming and oh my god, are you watching this?! 

Now I feel bad because I'm howling at everyone's reactions. But the reaction I'm really keen on is, what the heck is Clint thinking through all of this?! 

On nooooo, we have an ad break. I'm gagging to hear Clint speak.

Adrian's double standards are exposed 

We're baaaack!

Awhina and Adrian take the couch and why is this so awkward?! Oh, because last we saw these two, they were hurling insults at each other across the table, that's why.

The experts roll their relationship tape. But I'm nervous for Awhina because we're about to see some seriously juicy footage. 

Mainly, footage that catches Adrian out on a few things, including a producer grilling him about lying…

Remember when Adrian said there was "no excuse" for cheating? And he told Awhina he's never cheated in his past? 

Well, the producers said they've seen Adrian's application which kind of says otherwise. That's the scene Awhina is viewing for the first time and… (sigh) our hearts can't take it. 

It's also the first time Awhina hears Adrian's "wife swap" comment to Sierah AND label his second match Max "Awhina 2.0" during the Final Task.

The room is gobsmacked, Awhina is starting to tear up and Jamie's jaw is on the floor. 

"This is insane," says Jamie. 

Awhina wipes her tears and remembers how strong and amazing and hot she is. YES, GIRL AND DON'T YOU FORGET IT.

Adrian apologises for making Awhina feel less than and knows that in time, Awhina will meet the person for her.

This is all too much, we need an ad break.

Jamie's heartbreak as the truth behind Partner Swap plays out 

First up, Jamie and Dave. 

Jamie was an emotional mess watching back her wedding day. Now to watch her relationship crumble? This is going to be tough.

The room is awkwardly silent as we watch the moment Jamie said 'I love you' to Dave, well, because we all know he never said it back. Eeeep.

Now comes Partner Swap and… what's that? Footage of Veronica and Dave and their 'comfortable' sleeping arrangements. 

The clip shows Veronica giggling in Jamie and Dave's bed and we know that nothing ever went on between them, but poor Jamie is struggling to stomach it. 

Welp. Can we turn this off, please? 

Watching back, Dave admits he definitely has regrets.

"The way I handled myself when Jamie raised concerns – I'm ashamed of the way I handled that. This was something so special and it came to this abrupt halt and it was all my doing," he says.

"And I'm so sorry that's a part of our journey and it's caused by me."

Despite their sad end, Jamie says she's very proud of their journey. 

Now for the next couple, Awhina and Adrian. Don't go anywhere, things are about to get interesting… 

Everyone arrives to the Reunion

HERE WE GO! 

The doors are opening and everyone's looking giddy. 

Rhi and Jeff are holding hands (awh!) and after confirming their romance last night, Jacqui and Clint cosy up on the lounge with… Ryan, looking like an awkward third wheel.

"Over three months ago, you threw yourselves into the deep end, looking for a fairytale and hoping to find love," John Aiken says. 

Three months later and there's A LOT to unpack. So let's watch a compilation video of the whole season, shall we?

"Oh boy," says Dave under his breath. Oh boy, indeed. 

The group are screaming with excitement when we see Rhi and Jeff marry at not first sight. 

Jamie is teary as she watches back her wedding to Dave and yep, here it comes… the footage of Ryan dropping Jacqui on their wedding day. Everyone is howling with laughter, Dave gives a standing ovation and John Aiken shakes his head. 

"That was worse than I thought," Jamie yells. 

It's worse than I remember, Jamie! 

We're getting all the warm and fuzzy feels but now for a change of mood.. It's time for our first couple to face the experts!
