MAFS' Bryce Ruthven and Melissa Rawson officially tie the knot in Victoria – two years after meeting on the show
Married At First Sight's Bryce Ruthven and Melissa Rawson have officially tied the knot!
The couple, who met during Season 8 of MAFS which aired in 2021, exchanged vows during a stunning beachside wedding in Sorrento, Victoria.

Bryce shared the amazing news on his Instagram page on Saturday, alongside a photo of the pair sharing an intimate moment in the picturesque sunset setting.
"Mr & Mrs Ruthven," the 33-year-old captioned the post.
For their big day, Melissa, 34, wore a jaw-dropping Maggie Sottero ball gown complete with a sweetheart neckline and glittering embellishment throughout.
New Idea reports that the bride also wore the very same headpiece that she wore when meeting Bryce for the first time at her MAFS wedding.

Meanwhile, Bryce looked suave in a beige blazer and a crisp white shirt.

There were lots of familiar faces in the crowd joining them for their big day, including fellow MAFS stars Jason Engler, Belinda Vickers, Nick Furphy and Steve Burley.
Jason posted multiple updates during the day, including a video of the couple sharing their very first dance to an acoustic version of Joel Corry x MNEK's Head & Heart.

In a hilarious moment – which you can watch at the top of this article – Bryce even dipped Melissa down during the slow dance, with the pair accidentally falling over while lost in the moment.
The duo burst out into laughter, with Bryce soon getting up and lifted his new wife to an abundance of cheers from the crowd.
Bryce and Melissa welcomed their twin sons, Levi and Tate, in October 2021. The little ones were also present on the day.

Later on the evening, Belinda posted another photo of Melissa in a brand new outfit, having changed from her glitzy wedding gown.
She looked incredible in an emerald green glittery dress with feather detailing at the hem.

The wedding announcement was met with an abundance of well-wishers on Instagram, with 2022 groom Jackson Lonie writing: "Congrats guys!" while Daniel Holmes added: "Congratulations guys."

Fans were also elated with the news, with one writing: "Wow absolutely stunning – have followed you both since MAFS, so happy for you. Congratulations."
"Congratulations I'm so happy for you both, Liss looks so beautiful, here's to a Happy Ever After," another wrote.

Melissa also posted her gorgeous wedding ring after the ceremony, taking to Instagram to show off the huge sparkler to her followers.

The couple announced their engagement in July 2021, where they also confirmed they were expecting twins.
"@bryceruthven and I are ecstatic to FINALLY reveal that not only are we engaged 💍 We are also pregnant and expecting… TWINS!
"Words cannot describe the joy, love and pure excitement we feel for one another and for our babies," Melissa captioned a post on Instagram.
Bryce also shared a similar post, writing: "@lissrawson & I can't wait for this next chapter in our lives as we navigate parenthood as one happy, loving family."

The couple had an at times rocky journey together on MAFS, with their relationship copping a lot of criticism, but they went gone from strength to strength after moving in together in Melbourne.

"It's been a whirlwind, but we're so incredibly happy," Mel told New Idea. She also pointed out that their twins will be a world first for MAFS.
