MAFS' Michael Brunelli reveals 'truth' behind his relationship with Martha Kalifatidis as she marks 37th birthday: 'Things have been heavy lately'
If there's one thing Married At First Sight fans love golden couple Martha Kalifatidis and Michael Brunelli for, it's keeping it real.
The pair did just that as Michael marked his fiancée Martha's 37th birthday with a heartfelt and honest message.
"Martha carries a lot, for me, for Looch, for everyone around her. She doesn't complain, she just keeps going even when she probably shouldn't have to," Michael said.

"The truth is things have been heavy lately. We've been juggling work, parenting, pressure like everyone else.
"Some days feel like we're running in opposite directions. Snapping more, laughing less. So for her birthday we decided to stop, not run away, just step out of the noise."

The couple hit pause on life for an Airbnb weekend getaway in Ewingsdale, New South Wales.
"We cooked, we swam, we talked about everything and nothing at all," Michael reminisced on the break.
"It didn't fix all the stress but it reminded us of what matters.
"We made a memory that will outlast any present. So happy birthday babe, I love you always and thank you for everything."

Just last week, Michael took to Instagram to publicly pen Martha a happy birthday message on the day of her 37th birthday.
"Happy birthday to the CEO of co-sleeping with zero personal space. Thanks for taking all the body contact from Looch @marthaa__k, Love you," Michael wrote.

Martha and Michael's journey
Martha and Michael first met when they married at first sight in 2018 with the nuptial airing to the nation in 2019.
After successfully making their way out the other side of the experiment, Michael moved to Bondi to be with Martha and the couple lived there for the early years of their relationship.
They've showed fans every side of their lives on social media including the moment Michael proposed in December 2021.
By August 2022, they announced they were expecting their first child together and in February 2023 they became parents to their son Lucius.
