Married At First Sight's KC Osborne has reported that her jockey fiancé Blake Spriggs is "stable but sedated" after suffering a horror fall.

Spriggs, 32, and fellow jockey Beany Panya were airlifted to hospital after they were dislodged from their horses during a race at Moruya, NSW on January 17.

Both Spriggs and Panya were admitted to ICU at Canberra Hospital. Panya reportedly broke her back in two places while Spriggs suffered head, chest and internal injuries and was intubated and initially placed in an induced coma that he has since come out of.

Osborne wrote to her 189,000 followers to update them on Spriggs' condition.

"Hey guys. Blake is still stable in ICU however he is sedated while he fights this infection. The doctors have him on strong antibiotics which hopefully will do the job," she began.

Osborne, who shares two-year-old son Brooklyn with Spriggs, was elated to inform friends and family that days earlier Spriggs was responsive.

"A couple of days ago when his sedation wore off he was able to write on a whiteboard and give me instructions using his hands and nodding his head!" she said.

"Everything he was communicating made sense, praise Jesus his mind is sharp."
