TV star's update following jockey fiancé's horror accident: 'Worst days of our lives'
MAFS' KC Osborne has reflected on six months since fiancé Blake Spriggs was hospitalised in a major horse-racing accident.
Blake, 33, and fellow jockey Beany Panya were airlifted to hospital after they were dislodged from their horses during a race at Moruya, NSW on January 17.

On Instagram, KC, 35, marked six months since the accident and celebrated her partner's incredible progress.
"Wow six months today was one of the worst days of our lives," KC shared.
"But today I look back and think 'wow how far you have come'."

Blake suffered head, chest and internal injuries following the incident and spent almost a month in the ICU before returning home.
"I broke every rib except for two, both lungs collapsed and filled with blood, I had a haemorrhaged liver, my kidneys shut down, I fractured my left forearm, dislocated my left elbow, and fractured my collarbone on the same side," he told the Sydney Morning Herald in April, adding that he had a concussion and could not remember anything from the fall.

Throughout his time in hospital and subsequent recovery, KC kept family, friends and fans up to date with his improving condition via social media throughout his recovery.
In April, she marked him needing just "one more surgery then it's all on the up".
"Big things ahead for you, with your determination and strength anything is possible," she continued in a sweet message for her fiancé.

KC, who appeared on Season 7 of MAFS, and Spriggs began dating in January 2022 and announced their engagement in August.
They welcomed their first child together, Brooklyn Harmon Spriggs, in October 2022.
