Watch as Eliot packs his bags and leaves wife Lauren on their honeymoon after two days of marriage: 'It's done'
They may have got on like a house on fire on their wedding day, but Eliot and Lauren's Honeymoon was one of the biggest disasters ever seen on Married At First Sight.
During Wednesday night's episode, the couple's relationship went on a downward spiral after Eliot began to believe that Lauren wasn't his perfect match.

It resulted in him packing his bags and leaving her just two days after they said their I do's.

Why did Eliot backflip on his marriage?
While their wedding wasn't drama free thanks to Lauren's sister Tamara saying a number of controversial comments, the couple appeared to get on very well during their wedding.
Prior to entering the experiment, Eliot had a long list of "non-negotiables" that he wanted in a partner.

Things went downhill fast for Eliot and Lauren on their honeymoon. Nine
"I wouldn't even entertain a relationship with someone I saw as low class, swearing, trashy – that just disgusts me, so if my wife is super opinionated, judgemental, obnoxious, overly loud, I wouldn't even finish the ceremony," he explained pre-wedding.
But while the ceremony went well, a day later Eliot claimed he'd started realising the couple weren't compatible.

After Lauren told him she only wanted one child, he told cameras: " I think the number one thing for me is I really want to have a big family, so I want someone who is family oriented. Not someone who has values that run counter to mine."
He then pointed out her choice of designer goods, telling her: "That's the last thing on my priority list. Those sort of things... handbags, expensive holidays. I just saw your handbag. Don't get defensive, I'm not trying to paint you as something..."
He later told Lauren: " You should be with someone that's probably like, 40s. That would be a good dynamic in my opinion. I should be with like..."
"A 20 year old? Someone who is young and dumb who looks pretty," she replied, and he agreed but said he wanted someone intelligent.
"I said I would commit as far as they respected my non-negotiables. I wanted someone younger than me, like 25. Someone who wants a big family, someone that's right into exercise like me, not into superficial things," Eliot added.
The next morning, he packed his bags and left mid-honeymoon.

Has Eliot left the experiment?
After waking up next to Lauren, the pair had words as he said he wanted to leave the experiment.
"We haven't even had deep conversations.... you don't know anything about me," Lauren said, after Eliot claimed the relationship was "pointless" and that he could teach the experts a thing or two.

"He's leaving. I don't think there's anything I can do or say. It's fascinating to watch a grown man throwing a tantrum because he didn't get exactly what he wanted. It's a huge cop out," Lauren told cameras.
She then told her husband: " You are the most inflexible person I've met. It's a very unattractive trait, it doesn't matter how old..." to which he replied: "You're quite passive aggressive."
As he went to leave, he added: "I would love the experts to sit down and explain why they put two people together that had non-negotiables that didn't line up. Why would they do that?"

When a producer asked him if he'd gave it a fair shot, he replied: "I gave it the shot I said I would based on the match. It's done."

With that, he upped and left Lauren alone on their honeymoon.
It's not known if he'll change his mind but at this stage, Lauren was absolutely furious.
She told cameras: "I think it's very closed-minded and selfish. He's robbing me of this experience. We've left so much behind... I really wanted this."
