Exclusive: Jamie reveals why she wrote 'stay' despite vowing to leave following explosive argument with Dave
EXCLUSIVE: Jamie was certain her time in the MAFS experiment was over after husband Dave failed to prove his feelings for her ahead of the sixth Commitment Ceremony.
After committing to fixing their relationship at the last Dinner Party, a meet-up between the pair turned sour before their time in front of the experts.

As Jamie hastily packed up a bag of Dave's belonging and left them out in the hallway, she declared: "I am not f--king writing 'stay' tonight. There's no chance."
So, it was a surprise to everyone when she revealed at the end of the episode that she had in fact opted to stay in the experiment with Dave another week.
Speaking to 9Entertainment, Jamie explained her headspace in that moment.

"I was literally befuddled. And then honestly, I was dead-set that I was going to leave. I didn't want to be around this man anymore," she shared.
"But it was a long day. I had a lot of time to really, really think and I was like, 'I have given my all to this experiment'. This is something I came into with an open heart, I said 'I love you'.
"I needed to speak to the experts at the very least."

She felt like she got what she needed out of the couch session, which ended with Dave vowing to 'woo' her in an attempt to make it up to her.
However, Jamie still had her guard up.

"They definitely laid into Dave. There was still so many question marks for me, because I felt like after what I experienced and that change up in a matter of days, all of Dave's words started to sound like lies and disingenuous," she shared.
Jamie revealed her decision to stay. Nine
"On the couch, that was exactly how I was feeling. It's all great to say you're going to do this and that, but I don't believe you.
"So part of me was like, I'd love to get back to where we were. The other part of me was like – does that Dave even exist? Who is this person? So it was a really challenging Commitment Ceremony for me."

Although it was a very tough week, Jamie admitted that she felt very supported by the other contestants, who all had her back – especially during a very emotional Dinner Party.
"I felt like everyone was also very respectful because they wanted to genuinely help.
"They didn't want to berate Dave and make it worse for me, so I felt like the men in the room especially were so beautiful to really have my back when they were Dave's friends."
Married At First Sight airs Sunday at 7pm and Monday to Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
