Of course the stars of Married At First Sight go on the experiment looking for love but a surge in social media follower is certainly a nice little bonus, right?
Jamie Marinos is one participant who is basking in her newfound fame and recently marked the milestone of hitting 300,000 Instagram followers with co-star Eliot Donovan, who got her "the best surprise ever" – a pineapple cake – to celebrate!
But just where does she sit in comparison to the other stars?

Since their popularities soared on TV screens around the world, the brides and grooms have gone back to their normal lives and fans want to keep up with them!

Beth was the straight-shooting lass originally from Lancashire, England.
The 28-year-old arrived mid-way through the experiment when she married Teejay Halkias.
The pair called it quits right before Final Vows with Beth noting she didn't want Teejay to reject her yet again at the official endpoint of the experiment.
Since the end of the experiment, Beth's moved out of her family home for the first time and is enjoying frequent catch-ups with her MAFS besties Jamie and Awhina.
9. Jacqui Burfoot | 72.9k
Jacqui certainly made her mark on Season 12 of MAFS.
She's since got engaged to co-star Clint Rice, who she wasn't initially matched with, and her 72,900 followers have been keen to keep up with their lives after the experiment.

8. Eliot Donovan | 120k
Eliot made some serious waves on Season 12. He fled his marriage to Lauren just two days into his honeymoon and then in a MAFS-first returned to marry another bride Veronica.
Things didn't work out with Veronica but since the end of the experiment his relationship with co-star Jamie Marinos has blossomed.
The pair have been spending lots of time together at club appearances, Australian Fashion Week and just generally hanging out.
While neither of them have confirmed her denied a romantic relationship, Jamie told 9Entertainment their connection is "not a publicity stunt" and described him as a "very close person" in her life.
"I understand everyone wants an answer but we're in the real world now, so it's not like we're going to be official or announce something tomorrow," she said.
While Eliot sits proudly on this list, it's also worth noting he is the king of TikTok with the 35-year-old boasting 279,000 followers and 6.7 million likes on the platform.
7. Billy Belcher | 149k
Viewers couldn't get enough of English chap Billy. His relationship with on-screen wife Sierah was short-lived but he still managed to form plenty of close friendships with his co-stars.
Following the end of the experiment, Billy has gone back to work as a plasterer, become a godfather and is moving in with best mate Dave!

Viewers went on a rollercoaser ride with Carina during her turbulent relationship with on-screen husband Paul.
Following a number of hurdles Carina finally ended things at Final Vows which came as a shock to Paul who wanted to continue things.

Since then, Carina revealed to 9Entertainment that the pair remain "civil" although he asked her for a catch-up while she declined.
Post-MAFS, Carina is keen to step into the beauty and fashion world and has even launched her own podcast with hair stylist Jacob Muller called This Is Chaos.

As one half of Season 12's biggest success stories it's no surprise that Jeff has formed quite the following.
Jeff has been sharing what his and Rhi's life looks like together after MAFS and he also started 'Jeff Eats' this week, a social media account of "simple, delicious and healthy-ish meals while having a few laughs along the way".

Just shy of 200,00 followers, Dave has been busy keeping his fans up to date with his life since his split from on-screen wife Jamie Marinos.
He's been busy juggling his caulking business, his beloved dog Willow and his MAFS bro Billy.
3. Awhina Rutene | 212k
Awhina captured audiences around the world with her grounded nature and generous spirit.
Everyone was left baffled by her and on-screen husband Adrian's Final Vows where they both ended things and then got back together mere minutes later.
But by the Reunion the pair had split for good.
Awhina's loved going back to Perth to her son as well as catching up with her MAFS co-stars every now and then although she's shared that she remains closest with Jamie.

She took to Instagram writing, "300k 🎂 - grateful for all of you".
Fans took to the comment section to congratulate Jamie.
"My favourite all the way! Loved watching you Jamie, you made the show fun and real xxxx," one wrote.
While another said, "You were the best on this year's show!"

Speaking to 9Entertainment, Jamie thanked the MAFS fans that championed her.
"I definitely think the MAFS community is one of the best ones. I've met some beautiful, beautiful people that have said the most amazing things and it kind of makes all your painful moments worth it," she said.
