Ridge reveals what he's really like in a relationship in his MAFS 2024 audition tape

EXCLUSIVE: Married At First Sight groom Ridge has had a very "deece" journey so far, as his relationship with wife Jade goes from strength to strength.

In the tape, the two-time Commonwealth Games weightlifter shared what he is like in a relationship.

"Boyfriend Ridge is unmatched," he explained.

"Whoever I get partnered up [with], if I go on, they're lucky because I know exactly how to treat a woman."

He said he was looking for a relationship that didn't feel like work.

"I know a relationship is work technically, but if I have to put in work like I'm at work then it's not going to last... at the end of the day, I get what I want.

"I'm not going to be the guy who's like, 'Oh, whatever you want darl', that's not me. I'm not going to pretend to be someone I'm not.

"I'm not one of those people to stand down, I'll say how it is. Whether I'm right or wrong, that's up to whoever's in the crowd but at the end of the day I'll back myself till the cows come home."

He also joked that along with his smile and "rig", humility was one of his best assets.

"I'm not going to parade around and say how gorgeous I am, people already know it," he said.
