MAFS' Ella spills more details on her breakup from 'commitment-phobe' Mitch
We knew the break up between Married At First Sight's Ella and Mitch wasn't a good one when she appeared on the Today show and announced that "love is dead".
But she's spilled more about what really went down during an appearance on The Handbags podcast, hosted by former MAFS groom Michael Brunelli and Love Island's Josh Moss.

The 28-year-old said that the recurring issue with her relationship with Mitchell was his stance on marriage and relationships.
"He doesn't believe in monogamous relationships. Mitchell is an enigma," she said.
"He is a commitment-phobe. He's afraid of committing."

The revelation came as a shock to Ella considering the whole premise of MAFS was — you guessed it — to build a successful marriage.
Ella admitted that there were often times throughout the experiment when she would be confused by Mitchell.
"I've dated a lot of men, and I am good at reading people," she said.
"I have never met anyone like Mitchell. He is wired so differently."

The 28-year-old even went as far to say that Mitch is "the coldest person I've ever met."
"Mitch has been the worst guy I've ever dated," she added.

Hosts Michael and Josh revisited Ella and Mitch's history on the show, starting with their Final Vows — and had some very strong thoughts about what happened.
"Honestly Martha [Kalifatidis] and I were actually genuinely confused about Mitch's inability to make a decision," Michael said.
"I personally feel him not having a decision for you at the end was a complete cop out," Josh added.
Ella said that she "knew what was coming" ahead of her Final Vow exchange.
But much to her surprise the two rekindled thing after their disastrous Final Vows.
The then-couple debriefed about what had unfolded and were in contact with each other every day.

Ella even visited Mitch on the Gold Coast for New Years.
"I met his friends and family, stayed with him the whole time, went out for dinner, went jet skiing, did the lot," she added.
The two were in a great spot in their relationship when they decided to "go back as a team" for the Reunion.

Ella revealed that despite everything going well between them, Mitch broke up with her after one false article about her surfaced.
"He showed a really ugly side," Ella said.
"He wouldn't pick up my calls and then blocked me. Mitchell was waiting for one little thing for me to do wrong, for him to just tap out."
The pair haven't spoken since.
