‘It was good sex but…’

Carly and Justin have struggled with natural forms of affection, to the point where Carly broke down in tears at the awkward feeling of holding hands with Justin during a stroll at the beach. “I can’t even hold hands right,” laughed an embarrassed Justin.

The experts had bluntly told the two they needed to focus on their intimacy, which prompted the pair to finally go home and get the deed done.

“Last night, we had sex,” Justin said. “It was good sex… but we didn’t wake up in the morning cuddling each other and kissing each other and going “wow, now it’s on”, which I kind of hoped it would.”

A “deflated” Carly echoed his sentiments, adding “Both of us have no idea what’s going on”.

Although she acknowledged the experiment was designed to push them out of their usual patterns, she explained, “It should just be a bit easier.”

“We can look at ways to improve intimacy and see what’s really going on for you.”

The pair looked relieved as they accepted her offer gratefully.  But will this be the extra push they are looking for?
