MAFS' Jake Edwards opens up about his mental health struggles in candid Instagram Q&A
Married At First Sight's Jake Edwards has always been transparent about his mental health with his fans and followers.
The 32-year-old founded mental health charity Outside The Locker Room in 2015, and although he's now stepped down as CEO, he is still a huge advocate for its cause.

In a recent Instagram Q&A Jake opened up about his struggle with anxiety and about his future plans to get married and have kids.
One fan asked Jake how his anxiety is and he was happy to report he's doing much better these days.

"I still experience anxiety but it's nothing like it used to be," he said.
"I live a very simple life and focus on the little things that make me happy.
"I've made my circle smaller and my career is fulfilling."

More than a year ago, Jake took a break from social media after going through a public breakup with Sophie Guidolin.
"My mental health got to a point where I needed to step away and that's what I did," he said at the time.

Now Jake is "extremely happy" and in a loving relationship with girlfriend Clare Rankin who he met on Instagram.
And the former AFL star is even having thoughts about settling down with his girlfriend of 10 months.
"When are you going to put a ring on her finger?" one follower asked.

Jake sidestepped the question by posting a candid photo of Clare. "Let's see if she still talks to me after I post this photo of her," he joked.
But Jake isn't short of praise for his girlfriend Clare.

"You're the most caring, thoughtful, smart, funniest and sexiest person I know," the MAFS groom penned a message to his girlfriend on Instagram.
While Jake and Clare are just enjoying their relationship for now, if there's one thing Jake is certain about it's that he wants kids in his future.
"Can't wait to have kids one day," the reality star wrote.
"I've had plenty of practice being an uncle."
