The phenomenon of love returns with the first look at Married At First Sight 2023

In 2023, Married At First Sight will return for Season 10 and we have our first look at some of the new brides and grooms.

A sneak peek video, which you can watch above, teases there will be some shocks, tears and of course love as these strangers take a chance in the experiment.

The promo also reveals the hit show will return to screens on Monday January 30 on Channel 9 and 9Now.

The clip starts with black and white shots of brides and grooms suited up in bridal looks.

The thud of a heartbeat plays as these new brides and grooms make their way to each other, tension clearly in the air.

"The phenomenon of love is back," flashes across the screen.

There are certainly some nerves as they prepare to take the plunge, but it might all pay off for one couple.

As they meet at the alter, the moment they touch hands, colour starts to explode and the music ramps up to a punchy upbeat song as they embrace for a kiss.

Rose petals fall around them as the trees lining their aisle light up and footage of more weddings plays, with one groom arriving in a salmon pink suit.

"Hi," a nervous bride says to her groom as they meet at another wedding.

But as always, it looks like the road to love won't be easy.

"The greatest search of true love is coming," teases the voice-over.

A hint of a Dinner Party shows shock echoing out across the group, while expert Mel Schilling exclaims, "wow!"

"Love is a beautiful thing, just grab it," a bride says.
