Grant and Cassidy – the love triangle...circle morning edition
The woes and worries of the previous day behind her, Cassidy decided to start the day on a positive note. Glowing in her happiness, she snuggled up to partner Grant on a day bed. Feeling comfortable, Cassidy took the chance to hit him up about his true feelings for newly single Tayla.
“When I asked you if you thought anything of Tayla at all, like if there was any chance of anything there and you said, “Oh she’s hot, but that’s it”… is there a spark?” she quizzed Grant.
“No, that’s all I think,” Grant affirmed. “I think she’s attractive.”
“She’s a great girl,” Cassidy added. “She just has a few multiple personalities.”
Cassidy was unaware that one of these personalities had issued Grant with a 24-hour ultimatum to decide between his current partner and potential new one.
“The only problem with Tayla is the trust is not there,” said Grant. Speaking of trust, Grant had just asked Tayla for her expert opinion on his bum – the two getting busted flirting in the bathroom by an unimpressed Erin. “When I look at you, I see trust,” Grant told Cassidy. “You’re gonna be trustworthy and you’re gonna be loyal to me.”
“I’m so grateful that I’m where I am at right now,” said Cassidy happily. “I got exactly what I wanted,” she said, playing with Grant’s hair. “I wanted a girl mate [Erin] that I could really trust, I wanted a guy mate [Eden] that I could really trust, and I wanted you darling,” she cooed to Grant, who obliged with a kiss.
But content as she might have been, Cassidy couldn’t quite shake off Tayla. “I’m not a jealous person, but I’ve been getting this stinging feeling in my chest,” admitted Cassidy. Well, Cassidy, it’s either jealousy or a heart attack and with all that’s coming, it could well be both.
Outside, Grant was sharing his struggle with Josh. “To be honest with you, I think Cass is the one to be with,” Grant said. “But I’m always gonna have that thought – what’s gonna happen with Tayla, if I went with her?”
“She’s f--ken sexy, isn’t she,” Josh said wistfully.
“She is so hot man,” nodded Grant. “That’s why Tayla is probably the hottest.”
Feeling good, Grant wandered over to where Millie was standing and proceeded to compliment her bum – a lot. Tayla watched on, disgusted. While Millie laughed and accepted the banter, she later described Grant as an asshole to a sad-faced Tayla.
“My advice to Tayla would be, “don’t touch him with a ten-foot pole,” Millie said, lip curled up. “Even if there’s cling wrap around the pole. And a condom on the end.”
Grant, however, was blissfully unaware and busy asking Eden and Josh if they thought things would be exposed if he “secretly” hooked up with Tayla. The boys considered whether or not she would be up for a sneaky pash and started planning how he could pull it off,
“She is so hot,” drawled Grant. “I would deny it until the cows came home,” he added, if he was confronted about the imaginary hook up. “Poor Cassidy. Holy shit!”
“You reckon he should do it?” Josh asked Eden. Eden nodded enthusiastically and gave him the thumbs up.
Fuelled by the chat, Grant pulled Tayla aside for a one-on-one chat. While he was hoping the conversation would lead to secret smooching, Tayla had something else on her mind and told him she was unimpressed about him complimenting Millie’s bum earlier.
“I just really liked him,” cried Cassidy. “And I just do not get why he is constantly seeking her out. He’s had two one-on-ones with her today and he’s had none with me.”
But fuelled by the chat with the girls, it was time for the tables to turn and for the “love circle” to finally be blown apart – secret snog confessions and all.
