Exclusive: Sophie reacts to news that her ex Dylan and best friend Mimi are rekindling their romance
EXCLUSIVE: It's a difficult spot to be in when your ex and your best friend are striking up a romance, but Love Island Australia's Sophie is handling the sticky situation with grace.
In Thursday's episode Sophie and Dylan were Dumped from the Villa together. The couple since confirmed their split while Dylan revealed that he and former match (and Sophie's bestie) Mimi are exploring their connection once again.

Speaking exclusively to 9Entertainment Sophie explained how she learned about the news.
"Since we left the Villa we'd all hang out. With lots of the cast in Sydney I'd make regular trips there and I just caught a little vibe of something going on between them [Dylan and Mimi]," she said.

Sophie said she won't stand in the way of Mimi and Dylan exploring a connection. Nine
"My intuition was growing and I've had some discussions with both of them and they've sort of laid things out on the table to me," Sophie explained.
"It doesn't seem like their officially dating but they're open to the possibility of that.
"If something does blossom between Mimi and Dylan I can't hold it against anyone. I'd never ask somebody to choose between friendship and love.
"Maybe if they were sneaky or disrespectful or went about it in the wrong way but that hasn't happened."

Sophie noted that it was a "difficult situation" because of her close friendship with Mimi and her history with Dylan.
"It's not really my business to talk about but I just want them to be happy," she said.
"I was very upset about it when Dylan and I broke up but we're clearly not meant to be so he's not my person but maybe he's Mimi's person."

Sophie confirmed that she is currently single.
"I definitely had to take a break from dating and I've been working on myself and the mistakes I've made and things I need to learn from.
"But when I'm ready I just want to be loved."
