Love Island Australia 2026: Meet Zel

• From: Gold Coast
• Age: 28
• Occupation: Model

Merizel, “Zel”, is the ultimate heartthrob, turning heads with his six foot one frame, washboard abs and drool-worthy looks.

With a mixed cultural heritage and raised in the UK, Zel speaks four languages: English, Portuguese, Spanish and French.

Zel was a professional footballer who was in the West Ham development squad before moving to the Australian league. After injuries cut his playing career short, he was scouted by modelling agencies and now works with major athletic brands including Nike, Adidas and Under Armour as an international model.

Zel is searching for his equal, the perfect mix of chaos and calmness, a woman bold enough to pull him into line while being kind and caring.

Having had a serious long-term relationship, Zel knows exactly what he wants and isn’t willing to settle.

He’s the guy every bloke worries about walking into the villa: Mr Steal Your Girl.
