Ever had a bit of a social media creep on your ex post breakup? Cassidy is currently experiencing the 3D version. Despite “struggling” between Betty and Veronica, Grant chose Veronica – aka Tayla – and hasn’t looked back.

He literally sat down next to his minute-old ex and started feeling up the inner thigh of the new girl. As everyone else sadly mourned the devastating loss of that first guy to leave (Charlie, was it?), Tayla and Grant used the opportunity to mack on all over the house.

Even Josh is off Tayla. “I didn’t love you. You haven’t broken my heart,” he put her in her place. “It’s not about you liking someone. It’s the way you’ve gone about it.

“There’s a right way to do things and there’s a wrong way to do things, and I think Tayla has just consistently shown she does things the wrong way.”

But it’s OK - Tayla and Grant feel reeeeeally happy.

Tayla asks Cassidy is they can chat. Cassidy declines gracefully, saying she will say “nasty things she doesn’t mean.” We’re interested to know what nasty things Cassidy is currently thinking that she wouldn’t mean later. None, is our guess.

Remember yesterday when Grant thought he could hook up with Tayla and go back to Cassidy if it didn’t work out? AKA: “I wouldn’t say we’re done, but I’m gonna try things with her for sure.” Ahh, memories.

Cassidy is doing a stoic job of pretending she is fine while internally screaming. She chose Elias by default at the recoupling, and despite the fact the pair had a more natural banter than Grant and Cassidy ever did, she’s so hung up on Grant that Elias starts hedging his bets.

In this case, the bet is a hot newcomer called Francoise. That’s “Fran-swa-sa”. Hopefully we can skip to the bogan nickname soon. “It’s gonna be like flies on a hot turd,” mused Josh, adding that she is totally not physically his type. Which is interesting… because generally a smoking hot half-Malaysian, half-French 10/10 is everyone’s type. Even Kim’s, who wonders, “Can I turn lesbian?”

Elias has a totally awkward date with her, where the biggest bonding moment came over the fact Francoise is 28. She is very proud of this, playing a weird “guess how old I am” flirting game with everyone she meets. Mostly because she clearly doesn’t look 28 – or as Elias says, “Gene game strong!”

They play some insane game. “Sea or snow?” she asks, adding “OOOOOOH” when he hesitates, like that means something.

Elias inexplicably rates this date an 8.5/10, again confirming that cameraman Steve must film elsewhere during dates because that’s three dates that have been ranked as fantastic that were frankly, awkward AF. He can’t remember her name, for a start. Despite saying, “I don’t know where that name’s from,” when he first learns it.

It’s FRANCOISE. FRANCE-SWA. IT’S FROM FRANCE.

“Oh my god, he doesn’t remember her name,” snipes Tayla. Shut up Tayla.

“The Villa is divided,” said Erin bluntly. “Looks like it’s brunettes vs blondes at the moment. Blondes will f**ing win, I’m telling you now.”

Francoise is actually what they say in fah-shon, bronde. Mostly brunette, but a bit blonde on the ends. So, this will be interesting.

John James is also in the mix, going on a weird alcohol-only date too. Asked what his type is, he thoughtfully replies he goes for anyone hot.  “If she’s good looking, she’s good looking,” says John James. Francoise agrees. We have a love match!
