If there is one word to describe the Love Island Australia Villa this year, it is 'tangled'.
One heck of a web has emerged in recent episodes, keeping half the Villa stuck in an increasingly messy situation – centred around Taylor, his 'official' partner Em and more unofficial flirt partners, Hannah and Krissy.

There have been shock declarations, break-ups, alleged 'girl code' violations, sensual back cracks and of course, many flirty conversations as the sexy singles involved search for their strongest connection.
Then just as this 'love square' seemed to have sorted itself out, a major surprise Dumping made it even more complicated.

Taylor and Em
After Coupling Up in Episode 6, Taylor and Em quickly became fan favourites as their romance went from strength to strength.
That was until Hannah declared her feelings for Taylor, and broke up with her partner Niko... THEN Taylor confirmed he was also open to getting to know Krissy.

"It's icking me out," Em told Sophie and Mimi when discussing the complicated love square.
Em responded by getting to know Texan bombshell Mercedes and what do ya know? They hit it off very well.
Em and Taylor decided to be just friends – but their cordial end was made complicated when Taylor 'gave permission' for Mercedes to pursue Em and felt disrespected by how quickly she moved on with a very passionate kiss.
They've gone from couple to friends to neither of the above very quickly! What on earth could be next?
Taylor and Hannah
Taylor and Hannah had a mutual attraction early on, but neither acted on it because she was in one of the Villa's strongest couples with Taylor's friend, Niko.
But after the steamy fireman challenge, Hannah confessed to her feelings as she was jealous of seeing Taylor kiss Em.
There was a very long 'will they, won't they' vibe with these two – and just when they decided they would, fate – a.k.a a text – stepped in.
When Niko and Mia Recoupled up, a newly single Hannah was immediately dumped from the Villa.

The pair were devastated that they didn't get the chance to explore things further.
"I'm just shattered, I'm honestly just shattered by all this," Taylor said.

Krissy first chose to Couple Up with Dylan, but after realising he was more invested in Sophie, she set her sights on Taylor.
They had plenty of flirty conversations but Krissy believed he was more interested in Hannah and decided she also didn't want to fight for his divided attention.

It seemed like they'd closed the page on a possible connection... but then, Hannah was sent home.
