Disbelief as Hamish Blake makes 'incomprehensible' TV announcement: 'I can't believe it'
It was the most shocking departure to date, if not in all of LEGO® Masters history, as competition front runners Gabby and Owen were eliminated.
As part of the 'Run the Gauntlet' challenge, teams built the most creative booby traps to stop Hamish's journey driving a remote-control Jeep through their themed builds.

Unlike all the other teams, Gabby and Owen's build featured just one booby trap rather than multiple. So when it failed to work, their hopes of remaining safe in the Galaxy of the Grand Masters competition came crashing down.
"Gabby and Owen you bet the house on the one booby trap, unfortunately today the bet didn't pay off," Brickman said trying his best to hold back tears.

The judge continued: "The thing one was that everybody else gave themselves a few opportunities. Yours, if it had worked, was the grandest of the grand by far."
Alex, who also found herself and teammate Trent in the bottom two, thought Gabby and Owen's elimination was "incomprehensible".

Co-stars and competitors picked their jaws up off the floor and wiped away tears as Gabby and Owen waved goodbye.
Even host Hamish Blake was feeling the heavy impact of the duo's exit.
"It doesn't even take a deep fan of the show to realise that you guys were probably one of if not the favourites in this competition with the way you build and what you build," Hamish said.
"I can't believe we're saying this but we've got to clap you guys out."

In their departing piece to camera, Gabby said to Owen: "I'm a bit relived because I thought if we went home it would be because I failed you.
"But the fact that we failed together makes it better."

While it was a risk that saw Gabby and Owen lose their place in the game, it appeared that the pair had no regrets.
"We didn't play it safe and that's kind of what I love about building with Owen," Gabby said.
Owen agreed, saying his only regret was that they did not get to do even more.
