Exclusive: LEGO Masters winners Henry and Cade reveal what they'll spend their $100k cash prize on after making history

EXCLUSIVE: Henry and Cade were crowned the winners LEGO® Masters: Grand Masters of the Galaxy after an unmissable Grand Finale.

In a history-making win, the Aussie team became the competition's first ever two-time champions – and took home a whopping $100,000 in prize money.

In an exclusive interview with 9Entertainment, the best mates spoke out about the incredible moment and revealed exactly how they plan to spend their life-changing winnings.

Henry and Cade became the first two-time winners of LEGO Masters Australia.  Nine

"I actually still am speechless about it," said Henry.

"Honestly it feels awesome," added Cade. "Henry and I had some ups and downs during the competition and were just focused on getting to that finale.

"It's honestly an honour, it feels surreal."

After winning the first ever season of LEGO Masters Australia, Henry and Cade teamed up once again, seven years on, for this year's intergalactic showdown.

"We were the first to win LEGO Masters, when we did that the first time, we didn't really know each other," Cade admitted.

"So to come back and win again as mates, it felt to so good," he grinned. "That was something really special. It was pretty huge."

When asked what they planned to spend their cash prize on, the answer may or may not surprise you.

"I think my kids will be eyeing off some LEGO sets almost certainly, so we'll take it from there," laughed Cade.

"It feels great to be back with the family and to share what we've done," he went on LEGO Masters together, it's been great.

"I've got a nine-year-old and a six-year-old who've been watching the show," Cade said.

He added with the new addition of six-month-old daughter Lily, who he and wife Melissa welcomed while filming the Semi Final, Cade feels very "fortuante".

It was an emotional moment for Henry and Cade as they celebrated their win.  Nine

"I think I owe my family a holiday considering all the time I've been away," he chuckled.

"Life's constantly busy with two teenagers and a primary school kid," he revealed. "But it's been great being back on the show for my youngest son. He's seven and in that 'Goldilocks LEGO zone'.

"It's brought out a side of him where he's pulling out the LEGO and building along with the show."

Weeks of hard work, sacrifice and time away from family all became worth it in the moment Henry and Cade were announced as winners.

"We were really missing our families and we knew why we were there, we knew what was on the line and that's what our build represents, all those moments culminating in this swell of emotions," said Henry.

For their final build, teams were tasked with creating whatever they desired in 28 hours.

During Season 1, Henry and Cade won with their incredible Poseidon themed build, so stuck with the ancient Greek theme for their second finale.

Their build featured Spartans fighting a Hydra, with Athena, goddess of war, arriving on the back of a Pegasus to save the day.

"I'm so proud man, it looks incredible," Cade reacted to their completed build.

Brickman called the build "outstanding" with the hero of the creation being the incredible Pegasus looking down on the monster created.

"Artistic doesn't do it justice. Even the wing shapes, the bends in the right places on the wings, things like that, are amazing," he marveled.
