It's safe to say the contestants certainly weren't expecting to meet Hamish as a merman in Episode 2's Over The Falls challenge.
The teams couldn't contain their laughter as they watched Hamish splashing his tail in the water.
And it's safe to say, the comedian loves a dress up. He returned in costume again, but this time as an astronaut for T Minus 10 challenge.
Although there seemed to be a bit of confusion on Hamish's part who was only there to watch the launch of the LEGO builds not fly any of them himself.
Always a man with a surprise up his sleeve, Hamish stunned teams in Season 3 when he revealed a hidden talent – playing the violin.
He took a deep breath as he prepared to strum out a few notes and the contestants were speechless.
But it wasn't long before the contestants caught onto the fact that Hamish was just miming over a violin recording.
