Located 15 minutes from Yeppoon and only a short 300m stroll to Mulambin Beach is the NRMA Capricorn Yeppoon Holiday Park. There is a range of accommodation options available, with 2-3-bedroom villas, studios and both powered and unpowered sites for camping and caravanning.
The features are next level including a double loop waterslide and pool, kiosk, playground with a kangaroo jumper, laundry, go-kart hire, free WIFI and to top it all off an open-air cinema.
There is a new 10km bike track that starts at the front gate of the holiday park and travels all the way into Yeppoon. Along the way there are incredible murals painted by local artists, who skilfully captured the colour and magic of the area.
A popular detour along the track is the 2km circuit of Bluff Point Walking Track. It's a relatively easy climb up to Turtle Lookout, where you can take in a bird's eye view of the coast. It's a great viewpoint to successfully spot a turtle.
After all the exercise you may need a pitstop, the award-winning Waterline Restaurant is a must for a bite to eat. Located on the marina, providing the ultimate waterfront dining experience, with great local seafood and meat, and fruit and veg fresh from the farmers markets.
