South Georgia has a rich history and mind-boggling numbers of penguins, fur seals and elephant seals. At the height of the breeding season the island has the greatest density of wildlife on earth! At Salisbury Plain, on the north coast, Tina was blown away by the dramatic surroundings and the
cacophony produced by a colony of King penguins. Standing right there amongst it all she felt extremely privileged to be visiting such untouched wilderness.
While the days are filled with wildlife and wonderful sights, the nights offer the ultimate culinary journey. At Fortuna Bay, Tina watched on as fur seal pups played on the rocky beach and in the shallows of the crystal-clear water.
