Adjacent to the city centre, Darling Harbour’s King Street Wharf is where Jules jumped aboard a high seas adventure with Whale Tales. Cruising under the Sydney Harbour Bridge and out through the heads to the ‘Humpback Highway’, Jules started to scan the water for the tell-tale spout. Over 40,000 majestic whales cruise past Sydney each year on their epic migration.
After a briefing from the passionate crew, it wasn’t long before the first sighting. Staying a respectful 100 meters away it was amazing to witness the tail slapping, rolling and full breeches as the massive creatures playfully made their way along the coast. Some inquisitive whales came closer to the boat and could even be heard singing!
When Jules was ready to trade his sea legs for luxury, he checked into the luxurious W Hotel Sydney. This epic hotel has quickly become a landmark on the Darling Harbour skyline, offering bold, fluoro, and unconventional five-star glam.
