Highlights:

There's more to Coffs Harbour than visiting the Big Banana and lazing on the beautiful beaches! Charli drove 30 minutes from the Coffs coast into the lush Orara Valley to join a rainforest and river horse riding tour with Chris Fenech from HWH Stables.

Suitable for all levels of riders and kids from 7 years old, Chris ensured everyone was comfortable and safe before guiding the group through the gentle sub-tropical rainforest trails. The horses were calm and equally happy to follow slowly or go for a canter depending on the experience of the rider.

The tranquil trails opened onto the crystal clear waters of the Urumbilum River which the horses are well used to walking through and stopping for a drink and a play. It was a unique experience for the riders, you might want to take a change of clothes though!

For accommodation close to Coffs Harbour township, the Observatory Apartments are ideal, located just 5 minutes walk from the iconic jetty. There is a range of options from one, two and three bedrooms, all with generously sized kitchens, balconies and air-conditioning. There is a saltwater pool and plenty of parking, and for a romantic escape, you can't go past the ocean view king spa studio.

The Coffs Harbour Marina is home to one of the region's best seafood restaurants, Latitude 30. Charli met with owner Marcus Blackwell to sample some of their signature dishes; natural Tasmanian oysters, fresh caught yellowfin tuna ceviche and their most popular dish, local king prawns with garlic, lemon and butter served on toasted sourdough.

The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere, with a large sunny deck, fantastic water views to complement the world class dishes.
