Highlights:
Smiths Beach is in the south-west of Western Australia, a short drive from Margaret River, and about 3 hours from Perth. Prime position across the road from the white sands and dreamy blue water, the location of Smiths Beach Resort is definitely 5-star, as is the property itself.
The resort was constructed to cause minimal impact on the environment, and offers a variety of self contained apartments, villas and houses. The apartments are large and stylish and have everything you need to make your holiday complete. With a stunning heated 15 metre pool, tennis court, gourmet deli, restaurant and views for days, it's a homebase that is hard to leave behind!
With Forage Safaris, there are plenty of epic locations to explore minutes from away, including Canal Rocks, an impressive granite formation sitting on the edge of the Indian Ocean. Over centuries channels have been carved out, and these days wooden walkways allow you to get right out amongst the seascape. The crystal clear water makes for great snorkelling.
Another amazing landmark is in Injidup, just a 10 minute drive. After a bit of an adventurous climb over the rocks, Lincoln was rewarded with a natural spa pool. Waves crash into a rockpool creating a waterfall, which depending on the swell, can be a nice shower or a high adrenalin bubble bath!
Lincoln says a visit to Smiths Beach is definitely his type of holiday. Adventure, nature, exploring, plenty of time in the sun and the surf, and a luxury resort to kick back at the end of the day.
