Before and after: All the Do You Want To Live Forever? participants' final 'biological age' results
The Do You Want To Live Forever? 12 week experiment has come to an end – and it's had huge health results for the four pairs!
The eight everyday Aussies went along for the ride, undergoing medically supervised trials and health interventions in search of longevity.
Through them, we learned what the future could hold – and most importantly, what we can do for ourselves, our kids and even their kids to lead better, healthier, longer lives.

At the start of the experiment, the participants learned their 'biological ages', that is, the age at which they are ageing physically.
Many of the results were very confronting, but they were given 12 weeks to turn it around.
How did they go? Swipe through to see all of the participants final results.
Taylor | Before
Actual Age: 27
Biological Age: 35
Taylor desperately wanted to future proof her and Luke's lives to ensure they were around for their three young children.
"I lost my dad when I was 12, so my fear is I don't want my kids to go through what I went through as a kid," the 27-year-old explained.
"My dad was 40 and he had a heart attack. No one wants to die at 40."
One of her worst habits was beginning each day with an energy drink and eating a diet dominated by convenient processed foods.
Her biological age was 35 at the beginning of the experiment, eight years more than her actual age, but she certainly turned things around...
Taylor | After
Actual Age: 27
New Biological Age: 27
The 27-year-old gained eight years back in just 12 weeks!
Her biological age and actual age are now both 27.
"I was going to cry if I wasn't under 30 so I'm happy!" she said.
Luke | Before
Actual Age: 28
Biological Age: 31
Twelve weeks ago, young dad Luke had a classic tradie diet consisting of donuts and meat pies.
Although he was a regular exerciser, Luke's testing found he needed to lose body fat and build lean muscle.
The 28-year-old's biological age was calculated to be 31.
During the challenge, Luke had a major health scare. His full-body scan found enlarged lymph nodes in his chest and under his arms.
He required further scans and was referred to a specialist.
Thankfully, the scare was just that, a scare, and he completed the 12 weeks with some very impressive results...
Luke | After
Actual Age: 28
New Biological Age: 27
Luke's symptoms were "suggestive of cancer", and he said once he read that word he became very worried.
Thankfully, his specialist was not concerned about the results.
After his lifestyle changes, Luke's biological age dropped to 27 – a year younger than his actual age and an additional four years to his life from where he was previously.
"That feels good!" he said.
Tom | Before
Actual Age: 31
Biological Age: 38
Tom, 31, found confronting results at the start of the challenge.
He had high blood pressure and too much fat around his internal organs.
His biological age was determined to be 38, seven years older than he actually was.
How did he go turning that around? Find out on the next slide.
Tom | After
Actual Age: 35
New Biological Age: 28
After finding out about his high risk or heart disease through the challenge, Tom immediately stopped drinking alcohol.
He also changed his diet to include things a little more nutritious than a servo pie – and it certainly paid off!
Tom gained an entire decade back, dropping his biological age from 38 to 28.
"I'm back, baby!" he celebrated.
Duncan | Before
Actual Age: 55
Biological Age: 62
Former Olympian Duncan's health was in a precarious position at the stage of the challenge.
Three years ago, Duncan had a heart attack and underwent a triple bypass, and his testing found that he was still at risk of further problems.
He had high blood pressure and high cholesterol, and his ECG also came back abnormal.
Duncan is 55 in real years, but his biological age was determined to be 62.
The results, he admitted, 'pissed him off'.
But Duncan was able to use that frustration as motivation, and 12 weeks later he received a very different result...
Duncan | After
Actual Age: 55
New Biological Age: 56
Duncan's original results spurred him to fit the crucial changes to his lifestyle, especially his diet, into his day-to-day.
After 12 weeks, Duncan gained six years back on his life with a new biological age of 56.
"I'm happy with that number, very happy," he said.
Before | Eliza
Actual Age: 37
Biological Age: 42
Eliza and sister Liberty were complete opposites when it came to health and fitness – and Eliza knew she had work to do.
The 37-year-old ordered takeaways 10 times a week, often went out binge drinking and avoided exercise.
She was confronted by her starting biological age being revealed as 42 and set herself a lofty goal of bringing it down.
"I think I can get in the 20s. There's so much room for improvement!"
How did she fare?
